Shaw Jones Furniture Maker is a small design and fabrication studio based in coastal New England.

From fine furniture to architectural millwork and cabinetry to custom hardware we offer bespoke solutions to client needs in the residential and commercial markets.

Trained in high end fabrication shops on either coast and later receiving a degree in furniture design from the Rhode Island School of Design, Rowan has nearly a decade of industry experience. He works closely with designers, architects, and homeowners alike to bring their visions to life.

The studio has worked in diverse capacities, with extensive fabrication experience. Although a furniture maker at heart, Rowan has cultivated broad experiences as a timber framer, boat builder, metal worker, and commercial fisherman. His wide-ranging experiences of work, play, and travel constantly inform the ways in which he navigates the world as a designer and maker.

The studio values the art of workmanship, honesty in materials, functionality, and simplicity. We are exacting and unremitting in the work we do, start to finish.
